The G.I.T. Team 

G.I.T. a software development company devoted exclusively to supporting the Human/Social Services community in Wisconsin, is centrally located in the Wausau region of the state. We have dedicated ourselves to learning and understanding the unique requirements of Wisconsin county agencies. As a result, our two flagship products, Visual WISSIS and Counseling Management System have evolved and continue to grow reflecting the latest in technology, rules and regulations. Our staff has the range of skills needed to support our software and most importantly, our customers. County Human/Social Service agencies and G.I.T. work as a team directly and through our user group to develop the most productive and efficient solutions for their agencies.

Visual WISSIS is modular in nature and has been evolving since 1987 in a way that counties are able to implement all or only parts of the system which they feel are beneficial to them at a particular point in time, installing additional pieces as time passes and circumstances change. (E.g. A county may feel that the capturing all of their client HSRS data and the Purchase Goods and Services Processing module will most nearly answer their current needs. Later they may want to install extended functions.)

The company was founded in 1989 and is located at 901 E. Thomas St. Wausau WI 54403. G.I.T. is 100% locally owned and serves counties in the state of Wisconsin.

G.I.T. has a staff of 4 employees in software development, technical support, sales and administration.
