Visual WISSIS supports certified Community Support Programs (CSP) providing treatment and support services for persons with severe and persistent mental illness living in the community. Certified programs can bill Medical Assistance. Visual WISSIS provides the tool for capturing this information. What follows is a brief overview of the workings of the module.

The Contact Information for CSP clients is entered on customized input screens.

MA claims are generated (see A/R extension) for MA-eligible clients from the contact information entered by CSP staff. Diagnosis codes required for claims are entered in HSRS, and inserted in the claim as needed. The program, based on the "Education Level" of the service provider and the "Service Category" for the contact, determines procedure codes.

Generate client statements (see A/R extension) conforming to "Ability to Pay" and other Uniform Fee system requirements using contact information and other service cost information entered via Accounts Payable.

Quickly and easily access client information entered via HSRS or Visual WISSIS such as "Ability to pay", contracted service authorizations and more.

Authorize contracted services: CSP clients may also be using community services such as community residential programs sheltered or supported employment or other services that are contracted by the agency. CSP staff can enter/modify authorizations for those services, the program links the authorization to the contract allowing the agency to monitor and manage contract usage.

Reports: View or print notes, service authorizations or client/provider activity reports relevant to CSP.
